Cedar Mill Cider Festival returns in September

Since 2007, this annual event has brought the community together to celebrate fall and fun. This year we are moving to Saturday! Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District sponsors the event and provides all the infrastructure to make it happen. They have requested that we move it to Saturday for the first time, so we did an informal survey of the community and found that most either approved of the change or didn’t mind.

The main event is the cider pressing. Local scouts run hand cranked presses to turn apples into fresh cider that we give away free. Lauren Sheehan will bring back her band to provide “Roots/Americana” music. The Seasoned Spoon will return with bbq sandwiches. The History Tent gives you a chance to learn more about local history. Vendors, community partners, and organizations will line vendor alley with information, activities, and craft items.

Put it on your calendar and plan to bring family and friends for an afternoon of home-grown fun! Learn more on the website and visit our Facebook group for updates. We still have a few booth spaces for vendors and partners, so if you’re interested, fill out our form.
