For the past 5 years our patients and the Cedar Mill community has generously donated between 120-150 toys each year to the KGW Toy Drive. Please join us again this year by donating a new, unwrapped toy for a family less fortunate in Oregon and SW Washington.

A popular waffle restaurant is relocating from downtown Beaverton to the Oak Hills plaza. They are just waiting for the final permit approvals and should be open soon. They serve breakfast-style waffles along with sandwiches, salads, and more. Visit the website or find them on Facebook for updates. It will be great to have a good breakfast spot in the neighborhood again!

We collect on all holidays except Christmas and New Years Day. This year, Thursday customers will be picked up on Friday, and Friday customers will be picked up on Saturday. Visit our website for more information, or to request a holiday hold.

A holiday table doesn’t have to be perfect to be meaningful—what matters is creating time and space to be together. That’s where Market of Choice can help.

Whether you’re hoping to take a year off from cooking, need help to round out a menu, or simply want to try something new, the Cedar Mill store has crafted fully prepared meals you can order in advance and warm at home, as well as nearly 100 à la carte dishes. The goal is simple: make it easy for families, neighbors, and friends to gather and eat well without the stress. For some families, this might mean ordering the entire meal; for others, it may mean picking up just one or two dishes to round out a meal of family favorites.

The meals are scratch-made in the Market of Choice kitchens, with an emphasis on local ingredients. From classic sides like mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, artisan breads, and pies, to plant-based and gluten-free options, to choices for households with different dietary needs, there is something for everyone to love.

Whether your holiday tradition is big or small, elaborate or simple, your Cedar Mill Market of Choice is here to help make it easier. Simply reserve your meal online at marketofchoice.com or in-store, pick it up, heat, and serve. Hanukkah and Christmas meals can be ordered December 1-21 and picked up anytime between December 12 and December 31. Please remember that Market of Choice is closed on December 25. New Year’s meals can be ordered December 1-28, with pickup from December 28-31.

A new year is often a chance for a fresh start. That’s what makes it a great time to decide to get your finances in order so that you can find stability and independence.

Whether you are drowning in debt or have dreams of homeownership, you can lay the foundation for financial freedom by following some simple steps. Use this 2026 financial blueprint to make the next 12 months your best ones yet.

Set Big Goals… To make 2026 a financial success, you need to set big goals. Write down the top five things that you want to achieve by the end of the year. Maybe you hope to have at least $10,000 in savings or pay down a credit card. Whatever it is, write it down and then set achievable milestones along the way.

For instance, if you hope to save $10,000 by the end of the year that means you would need to save a little over $830 each month. If you haven’t had a significant change in income or haven’t been able to save this much before now, you will need to reevaluate how you spend your money and where you can pull from to put it in savings.

Set Small Goals… small financial goals can be something like setting up bills on autopay so that you never miss a payment. You may also want to consider finding ways to save money such as cutting unused subscriptions. Setting smaller goals can help you stay on track since you feel the reward sooner than with the larger ones.

Start With a Clear-Cut, Manageable Budget…Once you have a firm idea of your financial goals for the new year, write out a comprehensive budget so that you’ll be able to make room for those goals.

Stash Away Savings…If you are debt free or close to it, the next thing you should focus on is building your savings. Ideally, you have a rainy day stash of cash that is easily accessible in case of an emergency. With a set game-plan and personal discipline, you can make 2026 a great financial success for your future.
